This is a statistical validation report on the STATIC-99, STABLE-2000, and ACUTE-2000 actuarial risk assessment instruments administered to convicted sex offenders in Hawaii during FYs 2008-2015. These instruments assist community correctional officers in classifying sex offenders by risk levels. This report analyzes sex offenders with respect to sex offense and non-sex offense recidivism, risk instrument cut-off values, and prevalent sex offender risk factors.
