This is a statistical report on the STATIC-99 and STABLE-2007 actuarial risk assessment instruments administered to convicted sex offenders in FYs 2008 and 2009. These instruments assist probation, parole and Dept. of Public Safety officers in classifying sex offenders by risk levels. Both instruments are also essential for identifying criminogenic (non sex-offense) risk patterns. This report analyzes sex offenders with respect to socio-demographics, average risk scores, and prevalent sex offender risk factors present.
